For those who went and those who wanted to, there's now some great youtube content popping up from the Alpine 70th event in Dieppe recently.

Wonder if anyone on here can spot themselves?
Only watched the first one so far but some fab stuff in there - thanks!

Cool video !!

And I only spotted a couple of small errors smile

Steering does weight up a tad in Sport & for me makes a positive improvement.

It’s subtle, like most things with the A110.

Yea they really got it. Fun to hear what Zack had to say on Spike's podcast too.

On the downside there's an injection/emissions fault that's started to occur - you can see the yellow wrench in the gauges in the video. Hopefully just a faulty sensor that'll be easy to solve when I get it back.

Hi Ben - the colour really suits the car, is it silver? My favourite A110 wheels too.

Great video. Thanks for allowing that to happen Ben. I've been wanting TST to try one for the longest time. I've not seen Matt so animated fbefore.

It’s called Argent Mercure. As I recall if you bought the 2020 GT, you could have that or a dark blue. What I particularly like about this is the gold accents in the badging and the wheels

Good for what ? Do you want to buy another or sell this one or get your current one serviced ? If its service many here & on the A110 FB would suggest non-franchise given age and might have already posted recommendations more local to you

Sorry, it is for buying a new car. My launch edition was returned to Manchester pretty much new as it was returned to me faulty three times, it broke down on the way home. I loved the car and I am thinking of buying another one. I think I just got unlucky.

Winchester are one of the very good ones, although not every car from anywhere is going to be perfect, of course.

Sounds like you were very unlucky indeed!

Agree with Alex regarding Winchester, plus Tim at Banbury is also highly regarded.

Its also a question of which dealer might have the car you want in stock or coming thro in which case you have to talk to all of them or be prepared to wait many months

Thanks, I am not in a rush but they seem a good place to start. I have heard good things about Banbury. I was unlucky, Alpine were pretty good to be fair. After an Emira I am ok with niggles!

Hi Ben, what springs do you have on your A110? They mention them in the video.

The Life110 spring set. I kept the standard shocks, but added the S anti-roll bars. Fast road/track geo.
Frankly this setup feels like what I always wanted to car to feel like. Bear in mind my focus is track driving and B road driving.
Ride height is reduced 18mm to help with the geometry. I never felt like the car needed a lower stance, but it doesn't bother me.

It was interesting to get Farah's take on this setup, having never tried an A110. He couldn't have been more complimentary about the turn-in, its handling of mid-corner compressions, the overall ride/handling and the steering feel. Even to the point where he said on the podcast that my car may actually be more fun in the canyons than his own Deman Boxster Spyder.
