Does anyone on this esteemed board knows if two of these Alpine K-Way suitcases fit in the front compartment side by side? I am aware Cabinzero etc. are much cheaper but I prefer to have wheels...
I would have assumed yes, although having just measured the 'frunk', I'm certain two of these would not fit.

Frunk dimensions are 780mm wide, ~530-570mm deep and 200mm tall - you could fit one in the centre, but definitely not two side by side.

Shame, as they look like a nice option (I know what you mean about wheels).

As far as I am aware the Roadster bag is the only one for the frunk (only 2 wheels though) that has wheels and uses the space to the max.

Thank you Nick for checking!
I am still waiting for my car to be delivered so could not measure myself.
Would have made sense to size the bags so they fit, but anyway, I'll find a different solution, like Roadsterbag.

Thanks Miserable Git, it seems these are only available in the UK and thanks to Brexit this is too much of a hassle (I am in the EU...)

I will probably order the Oxfords but fyi if you need wheeled;

Larger case is IT Luggage cabin bag, clearly x 1,

Smaller case is Ellehammer cabin bag and fits x 2 easily

Both cases 2 wheeled

Has anyone for a cup holder solution for the new my22 that lacks anywhere to put a coffee on the way to work!

I like to think the A110's designers assumed you would finish your (tiny, French) coffee before leaving the café - perhaps accompanied by a few final drags on a Gauloises.

In the real world however, this is annoying (and the reason I have not fitted that 22MY part to mine). I wonder if a 3D printed insert might work?

I feel the '22 solution is a step backwards. The prior "cup holder" was pretty useless as it was - but there were very low cost dual cupholder inserts on eBay that worked well.

I agree, it's not a very big cubby and there were plenty of places to stick keys etc or ways to solve other storage situations. I can't now see a way to add twin cup holders.

As much as I'd like to sip coffee in a little french cafe the reality of a 5.30 am start with out in car coffee is bleak!

Yep, I’ve just noticed there is also a complete absence of cup holders and door bins in my TR4. - can’t imagine now why I bought it or how on earth they managed back in the day? Infotainment ain’t great either but at least it’s got an astray……

Ashtray and no cup-holders firmly denotes the classic driving experience laugh - different times, eh?

You can't un-invent the takeaway coffee I guess, and in a car so versatile for everyday use it's a notable omission. But then so is the pre-22MY infotainment which is barely evolved from a TR4. biggrin

I've installed two printed bottle holders in my car, which attach to the sides of the central rear storage unit. They hold Chilly water bottles and the stl file was downloaded from the Prusa website: https://www.printables.com/model/135906-chillys-bo...
This works as I have the bucket seats (the bottle holders are just clear when the seats are in the lowest and furthest back position). It won't work if you have the comfort seats as they are much wider (unless perhaps you are very short! wink )

To remove the storage unit:
Remove 1 screw each side of the storage unit
Lift and remove the rubber mat at the bottom and remove the nut.
Hope this helps someone else. Next job is to make a printed coffee cup holder.

I designed something that plugs into the 12v socket and presents the cupholder (horizontal) between the seats I cant deal with reaching behind and between seats for anything. I tried to mimic the diamond stitching on the trim. It fits my favorite boss coffee cans, soda cans, and maccas frozen cokes plus has a slot for a mug handle.

when the right filament arrives will post a shot in situ

Here's my day one ownership solution for the cup holder issue... Purchase one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08CV45BCS from Amazon for £4.39. Press firmly into centre console to squeeze it in. Place beverage in it. Enjoy.

maybe my flexibility is lacking but I have no idea how the French could accurately stub out cigarettes, or ash into, a cup that is located 8 inches behind and lower than their right hip joint..

Rear trunk storage solutions for owners to consider.

I bought a couple of these Aerolite Ryanair approved size cabin bags from my local market.
Brand new for £3, turns out they are a perfect fit to go in the corner space of the boot both sides.
So 2 can be used in corners or 4 will fill the whole compartment very well.
£15 each on ebay from a quick search if anyone wants to try.
Hope this helps some owners
