Just placed a deposit, although whether I go ahead really depends on the total cost of a lightly optioned V6 manual.Also been wondering about the lower black pack. Just seems to mean black exhaust tips according to 5he online configurator.

Will need to see one in the flesh (and not at Goodwood this year), but it does initially at least look a relatively well priced and intriguing proposition - and IMO looks bloody fantastic..
Initial config choices flipping between Seneca blue & Tan int or Verdant Green & Tan int, black pack and 4 pot engine..
Be interesting to see if the pricing says around the stated level or not, but exciting times..!

Another one who's put their money down on the website- hopefully next year - it's this or a Cayman GTS4.0 as my daily/occasional trackday - and a final non-hybrid/electric blast for me - think I'm one generation shy of buying my first EV so might as well go out in style... might be a keeper next to the Spyder

I was going to put a deposit down with Silverstone, (who I have bought 2 Exiges from in the past), my dilemma is that the order needs to be confirmed (effectively the point of no return) in September and demonstrators won’t be available until the first cars are delivered in March 2022.
I really don’t think I can buy a car without having driven it, or at least having been reviewed by somebody I trust (even though I’ve had an Evora 400 which is probably as close as you’ll get to the new car)
What are people’s views?

Deposit paid on Wednesday, I like the idea of the V6, but I want a decent gearbox, so will likely get the AMG 2.0. The wife will also be driving it and I know she likes superman spec, so will be blue with red leather. I quite like the red/tan though.
Hope I can get an early allocation, but I think the likelihood is a long long waiting list. I hope they've got a good stock of computer chips.

I paid a dealer deposit in April and converted it to a Lotus UK deposit on Wednesday. Dealer and Lotus UK confirmed all deposits paid pre-launch will be assigned build slots based on date of original dealer deposit, so I'm expecting to be somewhere in the first 50ish.
I'll probably go for V6 manual in Hethel Yellow with black wheels and black interior. I've been told I'll see a more fully-finished car in September at the dealer but unlikely to have a test drive before having to confirm the order.

If you enjoyed your Evora 400, I wouldn’t hesitate to commit to a V6 Emira. The similarities will be far closer than the differences. I really don’t think I can buy a car without having driven it, or at least having been reviewed by somebody I trust (even though I’ve had an Evora 400 which is probably as close as you’ll get to the new car)

I’d just sit in one when you get the chance to make sure they haven’t dropped a clanger with seat heights etc.
Deposit sent, what an amazing looking car for the money. Double wishbones all round, hyd steering and decent looking interior.
Really refreshing the system is deposit to Lotus and held in Escrow rather than all the BS with Porsche. Hopefully they’ll just build as many as required. At £60k that’s a bargain, even if you add £10k for black pack, Keff stereo etc still looks good to me.
