I think it’s odd there is still no orange and no isotope on the options list. Similarly, you’d think there margins on some carbon parts would be strong. Why no factory carbon available? Front bonnet, tailgate, rear and front intakes etc
Isotope is available, although I have no idea how you can order it. Someone posted their Isotope Green Emira on the EmiraForums site. Has a black roof. but still looks damn good
Doesn’t work on the Emira for me.
Needs to be left on the S2 Exige (doesn’t work on the S3 either..)

I don’t believe any of the special edition stuff has been available in the UK, I personally don’t think we’ve missed much

This went into Europe

That was always my feeling with the Evora 410 version of the V6. Not underpowered per se, but just when it gets going it runs out of revs. But I guess that is the same as being underpowered!

Well I’ve now driven three.
All had non working air con and paint problems. This is on cars from 3 years to to 6 minths old and from 400 miles to 5000.Why on earth don’t the dealers get everything put right on the cars before they stick them on the forecourt especially as the wait for doors and workshop time is up to 3 months.
Same as the majority of other dealers why sink lots of money into expensive repairs which a potential purchaser may not even notice.

And if they do notice the dealer will invariably use the old chestnut i.e. return it to Lotus they will definitely fix it under warranty lol.

This car has had zero chance of being a sales success, the launch and everything after has been a complete shambles.Must be putting buyers off in their droves.

Sytner S elect don't prep any cars until they've got a deposit from a buyer. Some of the cars I've seen displayed for sale are shocking. That said it's a half way house where cars are not good enough to retail at the main dealer site but not yet ready for auction.

Most of it is pretty unmissable, even more so if a buyer has done a bit of homework. It’s under warranty,so a dealer will be doing the work at some point come what may.
There’s a three month wait for doors, why not book it in when they first get the car,so that any potential buyer is a few weeks down the line already? Surely “we’ve pre- booked in for such a date “ is better to hear than “ bring the thing back in 3 months”?
I bet there’s been plenty of potential buyers that haven’t even bothered going into the showroom after walking around outside looking at the state of most of these.

But you would be surprised the number of buyers of even £60k cars who don't bother properly inspecting the car physically either because they can't be arsed and take the description of mint by the dealer as read lol or simply do not have the knowledge..... see the numerous threads on PH being testament to this.

You only have to go back several weeks to read the ludicrous situation and cringeworthy dealings of RSmanchild with his lightly used Emira bought from an infamous Midlands dealer to witness the corners cut by dealers in buying rejected cars from Lotus and displaying them in a ready to retail state in a filthy condition in poorly lit dungeons to hide defects lol and unsurprisingly many buyers were taken in.

Covid of course and GDPR massively changed the buying process which many see as just a simple straightforward click and collect what could possibly go wrong.

To be fair I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect a very lightly used almost new car at a main dealers to be in excellent condition and without fault…
