Haha thanks mate.

Looking at YouTube this morning and one of Bell and Colville's videos came on.

Verdant Green, V6, touring chassis 2023 8000 miles. £59k

and I'd completely changed my mind hehe

Buts it's been reserved already.

Not surprised as I've been to B and C and would feel completely confident buying from them smile
Oh no but what about the paint bubbling how will I ever survive if the paint bubbles it would be such a fking catastrophe having to get it repainted and what if after I'd had it done it happened again oh my Jesus save me how would I get through the days what with that I'm not sure I could stand the stress oh lordy lord maybe I should buy a Porsche they're SO nice and RELIABLE and NEVER go wrong ever no no no Porsches never never NEVER go wrong and I was talking to a bloke down the pub who said he had a friend who had a cousin who said they knew somebody who once owned a Lotus and it went wrong and his life was ruined.

Repeat.

There a good well respected outfit bought my car from them last year and service has been first class.Phil the main guy is a very decent chap to deal with....snip
Yup mines with Phil at B&C at the moment. Both doors being done - drivers side handle being swapped (won't retract properly), rear long brake light being replaced (condensation won't clear) and rear camera being replaced (ditto). Total cost to me: fk all. Except I have to rely on either one of my two motorbikes for three weeks or so (or my GF's car when she'd not using it for work). An R1 (you know if you know) - and a Honda X-ADV (which fits the dog when we go for walks). Picture of me and the Honda and Alfie for no particular reason other than why not.

Just go buy the one at B&C and put us all out of our misery. It's even got a manufacturers warranty till the end of this month so be quick. Though B$C will no doubt give you one of their very good warranties if you ask nicely. Then you can wrap it in cotton wool till July when it'll be all nice and warm and drive it for a month before putting it in an oxygen filled tent for the winter! What could possibly go wrong?!

There are 53 if you do not include brand new.

31 V6s and 22 2L.

I bought my 2l i4 in Oct 2024 with 700 miles on the clock it was 9 months old. Paid £62K

To buy a similar car now - milage and age - would cost at least £65K. Not that there's the colour I want at the moment. And for that £65K the car will have done 4500 miles. To get one with as little as mine had - I'd be paying £75K plus.

Prices are holding just fine.

Get one while stocks last.

I look forward to the monthly update of your purchase price, mileage, age of car and how much it would cost now…..well done you!!

No Colin would be me, who also had an Alpine, but was disappointed with it and was encouraging croyde to get an Emira.

Different league to an Alpine even if it has a few bubbles on the doors.

May be a bit OTT with the rant though. wink

James continued bizarre defence of the issues around Emiras is both pathetic and embarrassing! Not just here, but on the Facebook groups as well and probably other forums.

Bit like the RS Guy previously! And now after James BS about waiting for the warranty to get nearer to expiry not worried about paint issues, now says it s booked in for doors handles etc!

Give it a rest! And stop fking swearing you child

James could well be the son of Feng Qingfeng.
This would explain the passion. If not the anger.

If you can feel it, you might have to reclassify stalker to lover.

Dad's told me to say 'no comment' to all such suggestions.

I'm not sure I like the direction this conversation is going.

I'd prefer the stalker-be-gone hot line number if you have it.

Thanks.
