I picked up a C10 on Thursday and I m currently sitting in a car park as it s broken down.

The NFC card won t unlock the car, so I ve had to use the key to enter. Problem is, there s no way of starting the vehicle.

So, top tip, keep the mechanical key on you, just in case.

And no, I don t have it set up on my iPhone as there s been a problem with the system recognising new vehicles. ?????
Does the computer system boot up at all? I had some weird charging issues where it was causing any public charger I plugged it into to go faulty. A factory reset via the settings fixed everything. Might be worth a try.
Nothing works, it’s dead. I’ve called the dealership who tried to help but advised breakdown. Called breakdown (RAC) and, on third call after an hour’s wait, was told could be up to another two hour wait!

I picked up mine today. Short drive from Southampton to Reading wasn't bad. It feels a bit bumpy but not horrendous.

Whilst not as big an issue as above poster, I cannot seem to start the car with the phone Bluetooth key. I can unlock and lock but everytime I start I need to either use NFC key or put in PIN. Anyone else have issue?

That’s how it works, mate, it’s not a fault. There’s no difference to a normal car as in you unlock the doors and then you start the car so you use the phone or door button to unlock the car and to start it you either need to put the pin in or use the NFC key.

Anyone having a problem connecting to home Wi-Fi? Put password in, then it just defaults back to showing Wi-Fi networks available.

Has no problem connecting to my phone as a hotspot.
Yes, mine doesn t like it either, although I m not sure why I need it.

I received my cheap mats today from mats.co.uk. For £22, they are surprisingly good as they fit perfectly. They are cheap but will do the job in a lease vehicle.

I have this issue in my app. It doesn t seem to tell me where the car is and says I need to update the location from inside the car, but I cannot work out where I do that so I ve emailed the dealer.

Ah I guess that's why it seems everything is fine! Many thanks

Not good, sorry to hear this. I only got mine last Saturday and I’m leaving it at Heathrow tonight for a week whilst I go to Brazil. I’m slightly nervous about my phone not working whilst it stays there for a week or something so I’ve put the mechanical key in my bag as well, so thanks for that.

I know it wouldn’t be best practice, but I’m using my app for everything but someone on another group has hidden the NFC card in the car somewhere as it couldn’t be activated or anything as it needs to be on the pad.

I suppose their thinking is you could hide the NFC card in the car take the key with you and if your phone fails or you lose it he can get in the car and start it with the NFC card. Risky but doable.

I guess that’s no different to somebody using an ice car and keeping the spare keys in the glove box which would never be a sensible move but I guess people are panicking about the electrification of everything and their reliance on the technology to work rather than a good old-fashioned key!!

An update… after waiting 5 hours for RAC, I postponed to tomorrow. RAC are utterly hopeless. So, onto tomorrow. I requested between 10 and 12 and that was agreed. I then received a text stating between 8 and 12. Anyhow, my advice is to source separate breakdown and, if you stick with what’s provided, leave it to them to make the decisions as to what happens next. After all, it’s not your car.

That’s terrible support.

I’ve found the dealers know very little about these cars & found most of my tips & tricks off the web.

Some great info out there just got to find it.

Hopefully IF they can recover it to dealers the diagnostic kit should point to problem.

Other makes have had similar dead cars if the 12V battery is faulty.

As you say, not our cars so ask for a replacement vehicle until fixed & contact lease company to inform, they will want it fixed asap.

Update from today RAC arrived but couldn t diagnose. Battery has charge and also used booster back - nothing.

Car is officially dead!

Something for you all to check RAC said they used my insurer s breakdown which is also with RAC. Seems Stellantis haven t registered the car with RAC. My breakdown policy only covers up to 10 miles to a garage - my dealer is 15 miles away. RAC said there s nothing they could do without dealer authorisation. Problem was, RAC finished at 10:20 and dealer not open until 11. So the RAC man closed the job and moved on.

Called dealer at 11 and was advised there was probability a delay with Stellantis and RAC. Nobody available today to help, so it ll be tomorrow before next steps. I highlighted I would be at work and won t be able to do much until I finish.

Does anyone know if you can setup the car on mobile app on more than one phone? I’ve got it setup on my phone but when trying to get the car registered on my wife’s phone, it seems as though I have to revoke the registration on my phone.

Dealer told me that if you log in on one phone it logs out others - have you found this to be the case?

Two separate accounts. Mine is the main that is registered with Leapmotor , my wife signed up with her own email and I grant her permission to have access to the car. Both remain logged in at the same time.

That was the case before the August software update. Now you can share the app.

Just a little tip if anyone is using the Carlinkit with two phones. It's not straight forward to switch phones.

This is the response from Carlinkit.

"The box will automatically connect to the last connected mobile phone. If you want to connect to a specific phone, you can only turn off the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi of one of the phones."

What’s the deals with services on the c10 2 year lease deal - one service or two - and do they stipulate who does service - dealer told me this - hope you're well! The service schedule is as below:

12 Months / 12500 mls service interval which includes AC filter every year

24 Months / 12500 mls service interval which includes AC filter, anti freeze and brake fluid
Brake fluid is every 2 years
Anti freeze change is every 2 years

36 Months / 12500 mls service interval, AC filter, reducer oil change and filter

Servicing can be completed at any Leapmotor main dealer, it doesn't have to be our site

Anyone looked into service costs yet ?

Also on another note see on a social group - apparently Leapmotor’s are covered under RAC breakdown for 4 years ? Not sure how true it is or how you get or claim ? Seems to have been someone calling leap support line for issue with car and RAC told them all Leapmotor’s are covered for 4 years and not to refuse anyone.
