Has anyone from Birmingham North actually received their vehicle yet? I ordered on 25th July and have heard literally nothing since then.
I ordered mine through a broker, got confirmation on the 25th July, and was told it was being supplied by a dealer in Birmingham. Assume this was Birmingham North as I don't see any other Leapmotor dealerships on their site actually in Birmingham.Had an email from the broker about 2 weeks ago forwarding an update from the dealership that they expect to receive my car on the 28th November. So, assume I will receive mid-December or thereabouts.

Ordered through leasing. com with Birmingham north, First contact on the 26th July and car was delivered on 31st October. Dealt with the same person from start to finish and just checked a total of 50 messages with questions/info/forms between usHad 7 hours driving back from Southampton and overall very happy. I’m just putting the negatives here
- The adaptive cruise is very poor. Seems very jerky
- Charging speed on fast chargers is slow. 43kW max for me.
- Sound quality is good but it isn’t very loud. Same for phone volume
- Not a fan of everything being through the touch screen. But getting used to it.
Overall the drive is very nice though

I found the adaptive cruise to be very good. Are you aware you can change the distance between you and the car in front by using the left button on the steering wheel and moving it left or right so either one bar for closer and three bars for further away from the car in front. I guess if you move it to 3 bars being further away the car doesn’t speed up and slow down so often. Is that what you mean by jerky?- The adaptive cruise is very poor. Seems very jerky

I'm about a week into ownership now. One three hour drive back to London from Leeds and then short local drives since then. I'm in agreement with many of the findings that others have shared.
Coming from a hybrid XC90, it feels like a step into the future and the Volvo is suddenly quite old fashioned! I've also driven a Q7 and an X5 recently and I've preferred the Leap.
One of my kid's friends compared it to the DBX so the car is now known as the Temu Aston.
I've set the car up to use Bluetooth and PIN for access and starting the engine. The Bluetooth is a bit flaky for me as my phone doesn't connect on Bluetooth when I first walk up to it. The app does the job though. The app has also been updated to add "Vehicle Sharing" so you can have two phones connected to the car.
Does anyone know if the keycard needs to live in a faraday pouch or is it a different tech to keys used by other brands for keyless entry?
The ACC (for me) keeps you too far back from the car in front (even on the one bar setting) so it wasn't particularly relaxing on the motorway.
Sat nav is good and well integrated with the car, but doesn't navigate as well as Waze.
What the car doesn't seem to have yet (please correct me if I'm wrong) is the ability to have separate profiles (drive mode, app settings, as well as seat and mirror positions) for separate users. The Volvo connects profiles to keys, so the car sets itself up as you like it each time. The Leap could do with this.

Two B10s just arrived on site.....
Initial impressions....they are very similar to the C10....particularly from the front.....but.....they have left me a bit....cold. I find the C10 quite good looking and nicely proportioned from some angles. These just look like 'an car'.
A bit smaller than the C10 but not a small car by any means.
Pics to follow.

I've only tried ACC once but found it jerky as well, it's like it's constantly doing micro speed adjustments. Is anyone else finding the indicators don't auto cancel very well? Not sure if I'm just used to my old car.

Yes indicators can be annoying but a little flick up/down in opp direction cancels well enough. Is anyone else finding the indicators don't auto cancel very well? Not sure if I'm just used to my old car.
ACC isn't too bad. I prefer it on 1 bar setting and seems to do a decent enough job when in Average speed camera areas

I found when it was going downhill with nobody in front of me it was very jerky trying to control the speed. It's a small annoyance. I probably won't be using it for longer trips anyway.
90% very happy with the car
I remember hearing people getting poor efficiency with ACC and it being mentioned it's using the friction brakes rather than the regen (I think indicated in the regen part of the driver display) so if that's true it may be why it feels jerky? Would also be a bug if true and hopefully fixed soon, seems a big thing to mess up if they have.

I have one pedal driving switched on all time so maybe that’s why it’s better. Gassing Station | Chinese Cars | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
