Has anyone that knows they will go more than 20% over the contracted mileage asked for prior written consent from the lender which the agreement terms say is required?
Alternatively, has anyone changed the contracted mileage just before collection and if so did the price increase slightly in line with the cheap original price?
Also, has pre-conditioning or warming the car before using it worked ok during this cold spell?
Preconditioning works but it's more fiddly than my old Tesla and slower. The T would go from 0 to 20 degrees in about 8 mins and automatically heat seats and wheel. The C10 you have to set everything manually and i think it's more like 15-20 mins. The Tesla was so fast that if you forgot and hit max defrost on the app whilst putting your shoes on it would be almost good to go with ice already starting to melt when I got to the car. The C10 can't pull that off I don't think although this is based on only two icy mornings.Alternatively, has anyone changed the contracted mileage just before collection and if so did the price increase slightly in line with the cheap original price?

Not complaining, it's swings and roundabouts. It's better at more things than it's worse at Vs the Model Y.
No, they said to ring back after 3 payments and then they can change mileage allowance. Also, so many different versions of the contract. Mine is if I go over 30% the excess doubles but no mention of asking permission.
Hmmm, so you can't amend the mileage terms and what if they refuse to give consent to go over 20%... I should have done what I normally do and go with the mileage I expect rather than going with 5k and paying the excess.

Stellantis won t discuss the mileage on the car and amending the contract until 3 months in apparently.
To your second question yes it works well but saps the range.

Regarding vehicle pre conditioning do we set this in the App or car?
I set it in the App this morning & didn’t set a schedule as currently warmish.
Wife came back from walking dog & told me car fan was running.
Seats & ST were hot, car was sitting at 26C
:
What am I missing or cocked up?
Whats the orange symbol top left of screen within a could symbol rotating between 123 bars, is this linked to pre conditioning?

How are people finding the performance (in Comfort/Sport)? I've seen people saying it doesn't feel like a 0-60 in 7.5 car and I've seen very little video of anyone testing performance anywhere. It's never going to be a rocket ship, especially with power neutered a little outside China (who had 230bhp in the 2024/2025 models) but if the figures are accurate it surely shouldn't feel too lethargic? My ID Buzz with a 0-60 of 9.2 in feels peppy enough for what it is.

Turns out it was the windows! If they arnt fully up - the car gives that two horn warning to tell you
As to the perfomance - I leave it in sport mode and its pretty rapid

Top tip:
Just discovered today that if you put your finger on the AC/fan symbol and slide your finger right or left you can adjust the fan speed without having to open the actual menu.
Same works for temperature.
Very handy while driving

One thing that frustrates me is the fast time out of screens, particularly climate. Swipe up, look at screen, locate what you need, reach for it, screen reverts to home.
More annoying than that is the reason I am constantly fiddling with it, leave it on auto and it puffs air at the feet and nowhere else. Touch the button to select face or windscreen vents and now it’s in heating mode and the fan is at a fixed speed.
I’ve had dual or tri zone climate since 2006 across 5 brands and this is the first time I’ve had to fiddle so much. Usually, auto, set temperature. Change temp once a week.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. The climate control is terrible and need to keep fiddling with it. Hopefully it's something that can be fixed with a software update
