Hi, has anyone heard or collected their leapmotor from Birmingham North over the Christmas period? We have itchy feet now, just keen to get it!
Heard nothing. I'm kind of resigned to it not happening now - someone on another group mentioned all cars had to be registered by 31st December to attract manufacturer funding support, so can only assume Birmingham have been let down in terms of delivery.I've started looking at other options

I've gone with Aviva as Admiral wouldn't cover me. It's cost £360 for the year with premium courtesy car cover and protected no claims. Two things I've found better than Admiral so far:
Aviva cover me third party on other vehicles where admiral didn't on lease cars.
No cost to update with my private reg where as Admiral charged me around £13 each time I did that change.

£379 is the cheapest I have seen mate. I took mine at £750 in October and cancelled it in Dec and took a new one at £400
Cheers, going to let it just renew.interstellar said:
Not yet but I need to call them as in mine it says I need their permission to go more than 30% over my contracted mileage.
I think someone mentioned before that when they spoke with stellantis they said that clause wouldn't really prevent you going more than 30% and you could do as many miles as you want over your allowance at the 10p per mile rate. Or something to that effect.deeks888 said:

How's everyone finding the range at the moment?
Getting similar (wifes car). What I have also noticed is % drops every 24 hours, we are not checking the app regularly but it would appear to be regularly communicating with the car (day and night). Losing ~2% each 24 hours - impacts us more in our case as she doesnt do many miles, school runs a couple of days per week and couple of journeys around town.Edited by Jimrod on Monday 5th January 08:32
Only had the car two weeks, following our first charge to 100% it's done 105 miles as of this morning and on 14% so just put it back on charge.
I have a Tesla for 2.5 years and recall similar behaviour. After various SW / app updates the Tesla now goes to sleep and uses no energy for days if I am not using it. Have to wake it on the app rather than it automativally connecting regularly each day. Leapmotor need to do something similar. Saw on the FB posts that the iPhone Leapmotor app has just been updated. We use Android so not sure whether the latest app solves / helps this.
