Yes this, mine didn't even work for most of yesterday when trying to see how much charged or turn the heating on, and as you say it's a bit more random if the doors automatically open.

How good are these? Coming off the Honda eny1 deal soon and there is an ok deal at the moment on these.

Was planning to buy a 3 year old polestar 2, but just wondering to keep the cash and go for another cheapish lease?

I'm 600 miles in, had an IPACE and etron prior as our electric family wagons, this has so much more tech, feel roomier and range seems to be about 220ish miles. But it's not as fast compared to the other two, but for the price it's an absolute steal. Reliability is my only concern, not that the jaaaag didn't break down twice in two years, or my friends etron fry the electrics and spent 2 months in the garage... electric cars are a roll of the dice for sure

I’m coming off the back off 3 Tesla’s and I am more than happy with the Leapmotor!! Especially the price! Only issues are range and slow charging speeds but I don’t travel far

Hi all,
Junior toolslinger hands back his id 3 in May,he has tasked me to find a replacement.He does one long journey a week,75 miles each way,All motorway,Is this achievable on a single charge in the middle of winter.

Yep, I go to Heathrow and back every other week and it does 180-200 in the cold

I did Folkstone and back in that extreme cold snap

It's a 180 mile round trip, I had a full charge setting off, was a wee bit nervous not far from home being down to 15% ish battery left

I have noticed in the near freezing temps that the mileage estimate of how much battery is left is visibly nonsense, 30% out

Very happy with the car tho

My Leaf plays this trick too. But I'm still delighted with it, it was under £10K.
If I'd paid £40K, well, not so sure.

Have you changed your settings so the estimated range is based on your actual driving style?

I change mine and it reduced the estimated range. However it's now more accurate.

Any luck sorting this in the end? I'm in the same pickle currently, car was delivered on Thursday at which time the NFC card was working. A few hours later I tried to get in with the card and its not working at all. Unfortunately dont have the app working either yet as i've not had the chance to set it up.

Now stuck with a car that I cant get to turn on, with RAC having come out and said the only thing they can do is take it to the dealers directly for further diagnostics.. Would genuinely appreciate any help and advice from others who have had a similar experience!

After numerous cancellations and cock ups by RAC, the car went back to the dealership. Turns out it was a faulty RFID card. They reprogrammed a different card and I collected the car a few days later. Only other way into car is via Bluetooth.

Steady trip from one side of Bradford, through the city centre, short run on the M62, then park up in Leeds city centre.
Happy with the efficiency on this type of run.



Less happy at some point this week someone decided to paint go faster stripes on the passenger side.

Have you tried the quick reboot on st wheel, press left button down with pressing the voice symbol on right side, give it 30 secs screens go black sorts lots of niggles or re-syncs.

Finally picked mine up Friday and within 20 miles a pigeon decided to take a liking to the windscreen at 70mph. Not a good omen! Waiting to see if the chip can be repaired or not.

Pretty impressed overall, definitely a comfortable ride on the shocking roads we have at the moment.

A couple of niggles:

(1) I keep getting pop ups from the app while in the house telling me Bluetooth key is enabled/disabled/car is locked etc. I've changed the setting to "close" but it hasn't changed anything. I'm sitting here now 15m away from the car and still getting a pop up.

(2) Only one keycard which my wife will use. So when I use the app it does take a fair while for the passcode screen to pop up - no good as a getaway car that's for sure!

(3) Heating and wipers are going to take some tweaking to get right

(4) There must be a way of making the cameras come on earlier when parking up into a space? They didn't seem to come on at all earlier as I pulled straight into a supermarket space with a bollard in front.

For the price, an absolute steal it has to be said!

If the other person has the same issue I had, the car will be dead - steering wheel reset doesn’t work.
