Hi, anyone heard anything from Birmingham North? We were originally told the car would be here by end of October. We received an email on 13th October that should be in the UK in 10 days and no, just told in transit. How long does it normally take?
I was told there was a batch of vehicles which would be delivered to the UK by 1st December, but that was back on the first week of November and haven t heard anything since. If that were to have happened looks like it takes at least a week or two to sort and deliver to customers.Kamps501 said:

Been waiting for end of October delivery myself, not sure what the delays are as not been told anything from dealer. Mine was enroute beginning of November was my last update!Denno B said:

So took delivery of my Leapmotor C10 Green on Tuesday.
I am coming from a SR Tesla Model Y and before that a Performance Model 3 and a SR M3
My first few days of ownership have left me really impressed.
It feels like a much bigger car than the MY with an elevated driving position.
It s plenty fast enough in eco mode, not MY fast and certainly not M3P fast but fast enough for me to be able to slip in and out of traffic.
Due to being with Tesla for the last 7 Years I ve never really got to fully use Apple Car play so Leap OS seems ok to me. Similar to Tesla s OS when the first released the M3 in 2019 it s about buggy at times but easy enough to get used to. The shortcut buttons on the steering wheel help with the ADAS stuff.
ACC and lane keeping assist work really well. Again similar to Tesla s first couple of versions. I expect they will tweak it over time.
I love love having a physical stalk for wipers! Genuinely missed it and having a back window wiper is ace.
Indicator is doing my head in! Doesn t auto disengage very well and isn t loud so often find myself driving for miles with it still going off.
I really like the look of it!? I may be in the minority but actually prefer it to the MY and all my friends and family that doubted my choices have actually really liked it. Also some of the questions being asked in car parks reminds me of when I had the M3 within the first couple of weeks of them being released in the UK.
Build quality is better than Tesla as well which is a bonus.
Considering I am paying £275 a month vs £600 for my MY I am an extremely happy man!
Enjoy!

The indicator quietness annoys me although I am mostly now just half pushing it so it for off after 3 flashes.
When I got to the gym this morning a lady came up to me as apparently it was doing the light swoosh across the back. She said what a cool car it’s like knightrider. I didn’t have it in me it tell her it cost less than our gym membership per month

Thats quite disappointing on what is such a spec'd out car. Whilst I'm used to no cameras as my MK2 TT doesn t have them the Mrs might struggle.
Our current lease (Nissan Qashqai) has both the sensors and 360 cameras. Work perfectly well together.
you dont need sensors on the front, you have a massive screen showing you exactly where you are for the front, they would be overkill. Honestly its absolutely fine. Our current lease (Nissan Qashqai) has both the sensors and 360 cameras. Work perfectly well together.

On another note what mats are people using? I've seen the link shared here previouslt but want to consider other options.
I had a look at the CarMats option but ended up ordering these from eBay and they are very good. Interestingly enough the packaging on them says 'Elite' so not sure if they are related to the Carmats ones??https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/406134037936

They look like a good alternative. Are the rears a single piece or two pieces? Pics are a bit misleading.
The rear is a single piece. Not got my car yet but looks like it will run right across the back. Just need to get it out of the packaging before hand to flatten out the kink from where it's folded.Getting ours this morning, looking forward to getting to know it. I have been offered the ding it insurance for £349 sounds quite good value if they actually do the work and don’t wriggle out of it. Any thoughts?

Picked it up this morning fairly nice to drive the only issues are learning the systems and the throttle seems to have a tiny delay to turning off.
My dealer told me about getting a usb stick for the dashcam but it isn’t usb c. I have the carplay kit already in the old style usb port so my question is will a memory card in the usb c port work?

So latest from Birmingham North they can t even give me an estimate anymore of delivery, they haven t got a clue when it s due. I have been patient and don t mind a reasonable delay if there is at least an end in sight but fear this one has slipped through and will end cancelling.
Oh no! Who have you been speaking to? Have they said if in transit etc?Denno B said:

I'm in the same boat with Birmingham, I've also got a feeling we're never going to see it. Not sure why this particular dealer has been stiffed with shipments. Maybe it's karma for their shockingly bad communications! Gassing Station | Chinese Cars | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
