As ever looks great! Love the accessory come engine mounting bracket. Really neat idea and keeps everything tidy. Charge cooler heat exchange also looks nice and big, what are it's dimensions?

Looks stunning so far. When is the target to get it on the road, or is it whenever you get it done.

Keep up the work.

The pre-rad for the charge cooler is 350mm x 350mm and a 40mm core. It is a twin pass unit so the water runs through the rad twice to aid extra cooling before heading to the charge cooler

I have had the build 12 months now and I never really give myself a target to get it completed. I wanted to just enjoy putting it together. Without putting myself under any pressure, the car will be registered and roadworthy for Stonleigh next year

Exhaust is back from ceramic coating and re-fitted. Hard wearing and not easy to chip. The company supply F1, lamborghini, Pagani etc. Not as expensive as I initially thought either. They guarentee a 33% heat reduction:

Had some polycarbonate side panels CNC cut as I will not be having an engine cover. Also decided on a solid aluminium fuel filler line with a flexible connection to the tank:

Hi There,

Never looked in this forum before.... Looks like ive been missing out.

Just have to say what a fantastic piece of kit this looks, amazing... I admire anyone with the skills to build a car up from scratch.

And what a clean garage.... Will keep an eye on the progress......

Thanks for the comments. This is my first kit build and I must admit I am enjoying every moment. I have had the charge cooler made to fit the space I had to the maximum. The company who made it mainly do work for Radical so should be well up to the job. The core size is very big and more than adequate for my car, (300+ BHP) but the bigger the better !!

Pic below from last week ends Motorsport Show at the Ricoh centre. This week it's off to the Top Gear live show.

Ive been following your build over on the mev forums and its very impressive i can't wait to see it some time. I should start on my mev build next year the lightweight exocet can't wait to start it and if mine turns out half as good as yours i will be happy just got to sell my mgb gt first. By the way you have got a much cleaner garage than me where are all your tools.

Thanks Chris. The MEV group is growing very nicley and well worth investing into the brand. The events next year that are planned just for MEV owners is amazing - including their own race circuit, of which we are able to have a say in the lay-out !!

That's a very nice build. Must have a browse at the MEV forums. These kits are getting me interested.
