I ordered 2x VENT6 from carbuilder yesterday afternoon, and they were delivered at 11am this morning. Great service - and great looking magazine with lots of Gucci kit to drool over smile .

I'm going to go without the central vents, but I'll add a VENT6 at each side. I'll need to block some of the central vent trunking, or there will be no flow out of the sides. I may attempt to redirect the remaining central flow away from the back of the gauges. I'm also considering adding the permanent side window vents (they are fed from the footwell vent). A slight problem with that last one is that I've lost the trunking for one side banghead .
Interesting thread still

Are the centre vents fresh air?

All the air coming into the cabin comes through the heater / cooler. I've had another look at the car, and the sidewindow venting comes from the windscreen venting, not the footwell venting.

Was never really happy with the front grille surround. Clever chaps at Grassbank have them manufactured in polished stainless steel and also do front quarter bumpers and full rear bumper in polished stainless too

wow, well done for them, looks great and a nice thought that you do not have to worry about flaking chrome.

They seem to be on the rise price wise.

wow, thats a lot... maybe because they are making some special ones with those ferrari engines, those BMW base cars also are in the lift and this one is just a 2.8 with original interior/dash.

HI - new here - can anyone help me find a place that can make a Z3 250 look better inside - a fresh dash - I think nubodi seem to be OK?

Hello Jeff666 - you built my car P50 SWB so I'm the person above paying over the odds for it smile

I like the old ones!

Post some pics when it’s done, go careful with that nice new paint.
A couple of minor tweaks left & a lot of cleaning but basically it's done.

Thank you. Took it out for 70 miles of shakedown- it corners brilliantly, accelerates decently for the engine size & stops well.

A lot of work finally come together. I had visions of never completing it.

I can believe such, its a lot of work to get right, a lot of small things as well, many give up projects because of time passing by and the drive for the project a bit gone or different circumstances during the time of a project.

so, well done for you beer
