The car I originally enquired about had been sold but I eventually got a reply email with PDF's of some current cars from Tori. The one I chose was on colour combo and not on price so yes I did burst my budget a bit. Having said that for just shy of 20K I think it's still worth it and the car was pretty much described in detail as I found it. Painless process, bought over the phone for a 10% deposit and having satisfied myself it was ready to drive away produced the balance.

Never met the Chesil owner but his guy Steve was pretty efficient in picking me up from the train station and had the car ready to drive.

In hindsight I'd probably have asked for things like a spare wheel which apparently they no longer provide.

Not that I'm in any way becoming a marketing assistant for Chesil.... more to help those who gave me some advice, here are a few as yet unadvertised cars they have available.

Nice to see the cars Chesil are selling themselves, wish they'd update their website. Surprised they are so low mileage, wonder if people buy then change their minds or if these are ex-demo cars?

I've recently bought an Aston V8 Vantage and I've got to say I'm very tempted to chop it in already, for a Chesil Speedster! They look simply stunning and real good value. smile
If you let me know more about your Aston I perhaps have someone who would be interested.

Wondered if anyone had any experience fitting SSP replica wheels. I want to fit a set of these using the 5 stud adaptors available but not sure if the additional 25mm with the adaptors will interfere with the body i.e. tyres rubbing..

Don't use adapters, you can buy late Porsche pattern discs/drums easily enough...

If you've not already bought one. I'm happy to share my experience. I used to have a Chesil. Now I have a car made by Vintage Speedsters. There's a huge difference. Chesil have never used the correct moulds on their cars. So on the front end, they're a blatant replica. Here's a picture of my car when the previous owner parked up next to a silver Chesil. You can see the difference in both shape and the panel gaps. Chesil are such poor build quality.

Always thought the Chesil, although pretty, looked a bit flat at the front and that really shows it. The vintage also looks more rounded on the body side as well. Stunner - lucky man!
