Ha ha ha!
After my re test. AFTER I repeat AFTER my car passed it's IVA I gave the tester a pack of cakes. He was actually a really nice bloke.
He then told a tale. He was doing a test on a truck, the truck was owned by an Irish owner driver. The Truck passed. He was asked by the owner, If he took bribes, and how much? The tester said yes minimum £3 Million! WHAAT! was the reply. He explained he would loose his job etc etc. So £3M would see him through

I took a pack of allsort biscuits, but seeing him line up his lunch and tea break nibbles in a line on the desk made me realise , he was a bit different and probably not worth the attempt, so I ate them in celebration of passing on the way home !

I thought the test takes about four hours.
I'd be lining up the caterers with something a bit more substantial!

I took some chocolate and biscuits in the day after passing SVA, due to some helpful advice as to how to fix a problem on the day, but was told in the office that they could not be accepted.... I left them on the seat at the front desk anyway.
