Windscreen vs aeroscreen on a kit car
Discussion
Like it or not, the Q plate does put a lot of folk off.
In terms of kit cars I've got an Ultima and will soon also have a Lister Bell Stratos and I've also had 2 Westfields and a Caterham. None of them have been Q plates and I wouldn't have bought any of them as a Q-plate.
Despite having a bit of experience of owning kit cars I'm not really into the kit car scene but so I may be wrong, but I associate Q-plates with cheaper cars, perhaps less comprehensive kits and perhaps more budget spec builds. At the end of the day there's usually enough choice out there to avoid buying a Q-plate car which is why they always seem considerably cheaper.... presumably because to attract buyers because they are less popular. All IMHO obviously.
