I need a injection of effort/experience to get my car back together can anyone help and or recommend somewhere I can take it?

I've got 3/4 of the bits, including the engine, sump, flywheel, clutch, rebuilt gearbox, inlet manifold, gaskets. Run into difficulty working out what release bearing and carrier I need, and just struggling to find the time between work and other time commitments.

I would like to be part of the process, but mainly would rather get it back together some driving in this year than not.

You could always try Chester Sports Cars - formerly (I guess) an agent for Tiger and do lots of Ford engine conversions.

Not sure how happy they (or anyone else for that matter) would be about you being "part of the process" but you never know.

Haven't dealt with them myself, so it's not really a personal recommendation!

Ok. That sounds like a good lead. The name rings a bell actually. As I say I would like to be able work with someone, but understand that's not common and am not at the stage where I would just rather it was back on the road.

Gave them a call this afternoon, well nothing on the landline (01244 822244) so phoned the mobile for Duncan (07554 319432) and was told the business was his dads who is taking up retirement. The company he now works for isnt interested in kitcars, but he knows a guy who is a local kitcar and westfield bloke and that he would text me the number. Nothing for three hours and no reply having just rung to chase, but it might be a lead in time....

Any other recommendations welcome.
