Chris Smith RIP

Just read earlier today that Chris Smith, founder of Westfield Cars passed away after a long battle with Cancer.
Never owned a Westy, have a Caterham, but a visit to the original Westy factory many years ago was a pleasant experience, had a bit of a chat with the guy.

He has left a great legacy, and I believe had many friends within the industry.

A number of cars and wscc members attended the funeral, by arrangement, and where welcomed warmly by the family.
