I asked the owner and he says it's viper on the logbook. Came up in my Viper search.

That particular car is built on Ford Cortina mechanicals, so a live axle at the rear. It will be cheap to use but will never give the experience of the V8. Other Vipers used either Sierra mechanicals or Jaguar.

Think again, Lewbinsky, is very protective of the name he bought he even threatened to take the AC owners club to court because they were using the original style for the club badge. Anyhow anyone putting AC or Cobra badges on a replica should be ashamed, who do they think they are kidding.

To be fair, very few Cobra lookalikes are even worthy of the 'Replica' tag. They tend to be a replica of a replica with more or less everything wrong when compared to an actual Cobra.

Well, in actual fact I own three original AC cars, an Ace, 1962 Cobra, and a CRS. So I believe I can give an informed opinion, and no I do not care about their value as I have owned them for many years they were bought when no one wanted one, make of that you will, and my sons will inherit them so no they are not for sale. Personally yes I could afford several copies but I care not to, I do not have a problem with copies per se but they should carry the manufacturers badge. Strangely, after I put on my original post I read a news item where Alan Lubinsky is in a legal battle with a manufacturer of a copy, so yes he does care so you have been warned.
