Saw one of these on a trailer a few weeks ago, wondered what on earth it was, now I know!

It is a very creative kit sportscar, and this lends itself to many different potential body designs.

I would like to see a different design with the same 3 seat arrangement.

Wish this car a lot of success, we need to see more kits like this in the future.

any news on the Invicta review?

They're still not bothering to get back to me.

Tssssss . . . for UKs number one automotive website they should consider.

Ok, so the FQ400 motor is too laggy, but what about a less-extreme FQ300/320 motor? Or (if at all possible) a US-spec or Litchfield-modified 2.5l STi engine? Sure it's longtitudinally mounted (i think), butbecause it's a boxer, it'd be fairly short, and with 400hp (ala FQ400), the extra 500cc over the FQ would(hopefully) make it easier to live with over the 400 (not to mention the normal STi). And the torque of the Litchfield donk!!!

Watch this space then ..... I am building a hybrid version - a cross between the coupe and the spider and a TWO seater. I started with the standard kit and then got the angle grinder out!

It now has a rear window (bit like a Viper) with butresses, round headlights, completely different rear lights and a slightly less 'square' quality. I must say at this point that this is not a slur on Aeon's design - I just wanted something totally unique coz I'm awkward like that.

The Ford V6 Duratec is in standard tune for now but will have a little extra by way of a NOS kit which should give me close to 300bhp with gas (about 220 in standard tune) I am presently looking at supercharging rather than going the turbo route. The 5 speed gearbox is straight out of a Noble and should perform nicely.

I managed to get a few laps (as a passenger) at Brands Hatch a couple of weeks back and it certainly didn't dissappoint! It was a very smooth ride and the handling was superb with loads of grip. Like some people have already mentioned, I thought it sounded a little 'conservative'. This was likely due to the SVA friendly exhaust but the silencer wadding can easily be repacked to make it sound a touch more sporty (the V6 should help too)

Brute horsepower isn't everything, but if you really wanted a 400bhp Aeon the best route would be the same as Noble use - twin turbo 3-litre Duratec V6.

More low down torque from the extra capacity and two small turbos that spool up faster than one large one.

I have to say the back end of this car is horrible, the Coupe is Worse. Its almost like they got bored when they got to the roof!

Yeah, I was trying to stick with hi-po turbo four-cylinders, but anyway. On the subject of hi-po V6s, what about a Nissan VQ35 (the one from the 350Z)? Leave it atmo, with a few tweaks from some well-known Japanese companies, such as a Mines ECU to net 350hp, or go nuts with a 500hp twin turbo kit!!! Whaddya think??? Probably to big and boofy, but oh well.

Hi

I have driven this car too on the track, it handles like a dream and the central sitting postion is great giving you a great view of the car and track allowing chicanes to just fly by.
I loved the sound of the turbo but i have put a 2.5 v6 in my version love that v6 sing (now only a few months away from sva!)
I used to own a striker but the Aeon would knock 7 bells out of it! Its very shaw footed and great looking.
Although my v6 is currently only kicking out about 200 - 210hp (at the moment) i think this car could easily take up to 500hp - its so easier to work on with loads of room in the engine bay for engine mods and what not and the suspension set up is total adjustable and very well designed!
