I took a pic of the hotrod thing which shows a URL for the manufacturers web site.
Ewwwww... that looks terrible with those tiny wheels.
I agree, hotrods really aren't my thing at all but at least it makes a change from 7's and Cobras!

I It's also conclusive proof that engineers can produce good looking cars wink
I can agree with you on this concept kit............but there is always an exception to the rule....biggrin

In reference to the price of the kit, I believe it needs to be close to the buying price of a Blackjack Avion, but with the extra wheel.

I'm not sure, but I believe the Zero is close in price to 10K, for a complete build.

I agree. Not all kit cars need to be about ultimate performance. A car like this would demand a quality paint job, nice wheels and a decent trim job which, alone, mean it's not going to be a budget build.

yes Were you there? I wouldn't have given two seconds thought to a hot - especially one based on a 2CV - if someone described it to me or perhaps even showed me some pictures, but in the flesh it looked like it had a huge amount of potential. I even find myself half tempted by the idea of getting one and it's really not a genre that would interest me normally.

Decent read Chris.

Something that is quite difficult when writing about a show.

Would be nice if you can get some specific reviews of the cars you mention.

PS: Nice pics too

It would indeed. A few people said they'd be happy to let me have a play, so maybe I can sell the idea to John at Madabout (metaphorically speaking).

Once I started writing the article it occured to me that actually a show might not be the easiest thing to cover on a first attempt! Dealing with a specific car it probably wouldn't be so difficult to try and give the piece some structure, but with such a wide range of subjects it's difficult to link them all in.

Photographs are indeed excellent. smile

Did anyone else think the chassis on the Image F1 thingy was a bit, errm, overkill? The structural members looked like they'd be more at home supporting a high rise building than in a lightweight track car.
