hi all
i own a midtec spyder,its fitted with a 2.7 v6 out of an early renault, i can agree with what people say about its looks its a bit of a marmite car but the road holding is fantastic.
ive had a locust,2 robin hoods and a tiger but this is by far the best handling car ive ever driven.

I just think that the Midtec needs a restyling job, in the two section I erased on this sketch, the rear needs shortening and the front needs a different and shorter nose.
I think that the kit could inprove greatly with a few design tweeks.........just need a body to work with........

Sorry, but I think the Midtec's styling problems are many & various and it'll take more than a few tweaks to resolve it. The Elise could be a lot of work if the basic dimensions don't match pretty closely - and cutting & shutting such a shape would be no small matter.
If it's a track weapon my first thought was the Porsche 908 Spyder:
The thinking being that it might be (realtively) easy to adjust length & width as necessary but whilst I think a replica does exist, it's rare and I doubt cheap.
So my second thought is the Lola T490 series:
In fact I think someone else in the PH forums has built a Porsche engined hillclimb beast using a similar Lola body.
I'm not sure the Midtec is actually quite as cab-forward as either of these - the single plane through the nose and windscreen is deceptive (as well as ugly)
Any more photos of the chassis to post - especially side elevation and front 3/4?

hi,i have a chassis (looks like built up before),
with metal cockpit panelling and a fibreglass footwell/
tub,gear shift and linking arm to engine? there are the wishbones (eight of) and adjusters? a new pack of nuts, bolts washers and bushers.
also part of a build manuel covering chassis build up to rolling chassis plus suspention set up.
i will post photos later.
