Thanks, John. No, unfortunately (or fortunately?) it maxed out at about 3,000-3,500, then it would get an audible misfire.

I added details about the day's wins and losses to a comment in the video.

One thing I didn't think about until yesterday morning was that the engine had very little run time. It had only been brought up to operating temperature once or twice before. I'm happy to let the rings have a little more run time, before the revs get sent to redline.

The tuner suspects signal interference and gave us a list of wires to shield. Or possibly ancient plug leads. Or non-resistor plugs.

Think I understand.
This coil provides 45,000V. That's approximately THREE times the output of a Bosch blue top. The plug leads may not be "stock," but they're older than dirt.
