Very nice, I would have thought there was a market for a cast injection manifold just like that that could be made to suit 2.8 / 2.9 / Essex V6's. Someone like Flowtec maybe. Anyway, now how can we get more power out of that engine!

More power from the Cologne or the Essex? The cast plenum can be made to suit the Essex and even perhaps with a bit of work the cologne.Forced or atmosheric induction.

WHAT AN IMPRESSIVELY NEAT INSTALLATION. LOOKS FAR BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL INSTALLATION, BUT THATS PROGRESS I GUESS. THE OUTPUT FIGURES ARE QUITE OUTSTANDING, I BET IT SHIFTS !! ANY PERFORMANCE FIGURES YET??

Well i guess the weight is about the same as a Griffith, possibly less? With those genuine bhp/torque to weight figures i suppose its in the '500' country? I haven't had the luxury of timing equipment being attached to it.

I've seen this car in the flesh and was very impressed. Also I hear the owner like scaring the hell out of Griffith 500 owners!!!

Could you let me know where you got the casting made - as I am looking into getting some intake casings (or machined from solid) for blowing a Triumph Race engine

I did the design work myself but had a Local pattern maker (S. Wales) 'cut' the wood patterns. A local foundry then cast it. If you mail i can give more information to you. I have the patterns available too! Edited by mk1 on Wednesday 18th April 15:35
