I am Ralph Taylor who owned TVR Tuscan SE SWB SWR9F in the 70's. I remember some details of the car and would be happy to ring anyone interested.

Hi Ralph,

I have a file of bills from when you blueprinted the engine, mostly addressed to the officer's mess. The car is at my parents.

After your time, the shapes was altered and the car painted silver blue.
Did you buy it from Winchester?
Did you race it?

I'll try to PM you.

From Ralph Taylor. New to Petrol heads and comms other than e-mail hence I don't know what PM means! Hope we can get in touch as work on the car included mods by Ian Richardson, the garage constructing a Formula 1 car and work by the ex chief designer at Lotus! Car never raced in my time!

Cheers
Ralph Taylor

PM Private message - I sent you an email with phone number.

After you sold the car it was modified by Martin Bolsover. It was pictured in the TVR history in 1976 at Curborough. See picture below. Martin was later Hill Climb Champion and held a long term record at Shelsley, although not in the TVR. It then was owned by Ed Stevens - who had a few racing TVRs. Dad bought it from Ed, pestered by my brother, who sometimes post here.

Hi
I have just noticed this car that I used to own and a very good friend of mine had it from new in 1970. I know most of its history up to about 1980.
The car was originally supplied new in bright Yellow and I had it stripped and repainted in Black with Wolf Race wheels. It was a fantastic Car and I only sold it to buy a Ferrari 246 GTS.
If anyone would like further information contact me by e mail rgmadge21@gmail .com

Luke,

My family own the SWR 9F photos above, it is currently being restored.

I'll send you an email - (my email here is out of date).

Another unrestored LW car was at Woodwork in the US last weekend - I think this is a very similar chassis number to yours.

Do you have any current photos.

Regards

Rob
