Up for sale now then? Looks a lovely job.Hi everybody, my name is Finn.
I am not a TVR owner per se, however, I have always been fascinated by all the models old and modern. I've been looking into the interesting stories of all the Vixens, Tuscans, Granturas etc, it's great to see an amazing community here of great knowledge and passion for the brand. I am looking to add all of the older pre-1990 TVRs in the form of a community-driven registry, where these cars can be displayed with historical and current images and showcasing historical descriptions of the car's life, whether it be modifications, conversions, travelling distances or unique information about specific chassis. The main brick wall that I have encountered in continuing the registry is that I am struggling to find the production numbers of all the cars. If anybody has any information or data to show the numbers of all the old TVR's, that would be greatly appreciated!
So far on the registry, i have:
450 SEAC,
Cerbera Speed 12,
TVR EMMA (223ema),
The Griffith Concept,
Sagaris,
Scamander,
Both T350 & T350T,
T400R, T440R,
Tamora,
Trident,
Tuscan Challenge, R, V6 & V8
Typhon
The White Elephant
All of the new additions are easy to set up and just like with the other models will be regularly updated via the community. All of you are welcome to join the registry at any time.
Thanks,
Finn

and since it is for sale again, I'm interested in that Griffith 400 but have to sell my car first, I've made contact with David who sells it.
And while its great that it comes to the EU (being the UK sort of out it and we in NL have to pay almost 10% 'tax' over it when importing, when it goes to Zwitserland its even worse! or the same-ish... since Zwitserland is in, but also out... you wonder why and how that can be with the dark forces and the system...
but... there are 2 others for sale, also LHD but also more for FIA races and street, maybe something for you? one in Belgium and one in Finland.

Hi Ben,
There's plenty of information that should be of interest to you on the TVR Car Club website, I believe much of it is accessible without being a member:
https://www.tvr-car-club.co.uk/
Look under the tab 'Find out about' to get information on the different TVR models.
There's also this TVR Vixen registry:
https://tvr.at/register2.html
And then searches on Google are quite productive...and of course this posting on PH on 'Early TVR Pictures' has a great photographic record of early TVRs.
All the best,
Marc

Yes I will. Until then I will also figure out how to post pictures in this forum
I will be quit nervous for the next two weeks.
hah, I can understand that.
I will be quit nervous for the next two weeks.
btw posting pictures can be done in different ways, for example from your PC to this platform,
then you can use the simple "upload an picture" button, it then goes to your PC/Pictures and you can click the picture you want to upload and follow the instructions,
after that close that part, then for say the next picture, open again same procedure, so you can post many pictures in 1 post.
for posting pictures that are somewhere online? just grab the url link, then post that link between then to be sure you can click on "Preview" before posting to see all went well
I guess there are more ways, but for me in simple ways I use those ways.

My first drive in the Griffith last week. I could not realy enjoy it, as I was way to absorbed driving on the wrong side of the road in the rain.

so I drove back home on the wrong side (just a short street from the industrie park) then I spotted a car from the other side also driving at 'my' lane
oeps... so I went fastly to the correct side (UK) and all went well, constantly saying to myself, drive on the wrong side lol...So how went the drive with that much torque I guess and no drivers helps in the wet and not on your usually side of the road?
btw, I can now get that car (now yours) from my phone...

this one, was 1 of my favorit cars from just a few to go and buy as soon as my Z3 s65 was sold, but would not go to the UK (sadly I'm not such traveler anymore....) but if the price was good/better then I would buy it 'blindly' as I also did long time ago with a TVR V8S from Austria.
I looked at those every night in bed and a few other classic favorites I have in mind, to see if I still liked it and then I could sleep lol.
I also do that with scale models in 1/43 some I buy to see if I like the outside etc and info for some day, my list is getting smaller a bit, because now more oriented ad say pre 80 cars and manual and special.

Are you going to connect that rear ARB set up?
Actually not initially. That's there for future experimentation, as are cage mount points. I suspect, for His Majesty's Highway, I won't need either for a while. First track enhancement will be thinner rear tyres so I can relearn the art of overcooking things round fast corners
