that looks lovely, better then new, love the chassis and body under colors.
and ow, guess there comes a V8 in it... MMM
Only a "small" V8.... with alloy heads to make it lighter than the Essex boat anchor and one or two 'improvements' to get performance to be around Taimar Turbo levels but with a little more grunt. It'll be my daily driver.and ow, guess there comes a V8 in it... MMM

I remember my TVR V8S around 2000, had something like 240ps, but the sound it made and the way it felt, gave you the feeling of 400 hp

[quote=status]Update on "Sexy bit from Reading" (page 1...)

Just an observation, and I may be miles of the mark here.
That looks like a T5, and looks to be fitted with two rubber dampers bolted through onto the casting bracket.
Does that set up prevent the engine and box from shunting back and forward during braking and acceleration?
On my set up, it’s the gearbox support that does all the work.

Yup, T5 ex Mustang, along with the engine. To be honest I can't recall the shape of the Ford rear gearbox mount. They're two rubber mounts rather than just dampers. The setup follows one from a similar spec car so it should cope with the engine power reasonable well as long as the driver isn't too brutal Just an observation, and I may be miles of the mark here.

KTF 779K - a 1972 Vixen in Greenwich.
Noticed its front end months ago from the end of a mews that is regularly locked. Ventured in yesterday and took some photos, and some searching showed it back in this thread in August 2016.
It was MOTed in July and had its tax renewed in November, but I don't recall seeing it move recently. It's right near Greenwich's appropriately named Junk Shop, the proprietor of which has had an ancient Morris and a beat up old Rolls Royce parked outside, and there are occasionally some other random older cars near it in the mews. Will stop in and ask if it's connected.
