To meet the Zandvoort noise restrictions. Almost all the cars run extra silencers

The Green Vixen S3 with a Griffith engine in (Charlie Green who converted it to V8 had both and chose to put the V8 into the Vixen) ...is the ex Russ Hughes/Richard Carter car. and I think the Beige/Brown turbo is the ex Paul Edwards car. I think the Ex Steve Reid Turbo, TVR 365S in the row.

The red Tuscan V8 in a couple of the shots is mine, the calm-looking man with the moustache and stopwatch by the yellow M is John Hayter.

This car appeared earlier, but here it is back in it's rightful home and with someone pretty important in TVR history.

Yes, that was Steve's M turbo. The white M turbo with the blue band now has fuel injection and belongs to Stuart Morgan who used to run the turbo registry website. I am pretty sure the yellow M with the white wheels was a 2500M, it belonged to a lad called Tim who used to come down to some of the Burnley meetings from Kendal. I thought the Russ Hughes/Richard Carter V8 was originally a Tuscan V6? Whatever it was, it was bloody quick!

Picture from 1980, my very first TVR. A one owner car at the time car purchased from John Brittan Garages in Barnet, later the TVR Centre. Think I still have the copy of Motor with the advert in it somewhere.

On SORN but would love to know if still alive.

I had a sneak preview of the entry for the Fordwater Trophy at this year's Revival and there are several Granturas - MkII's and III's including the one Mike Youles built for the 72nd Members Meeting

Also some relative rarities two G4s, a Tornado Talisman, a Sabre Six, a Gilbern 1800 and Alan Collett's Iso Rivolta IR300 plus the usual GTS11 regulars

Afraid I didn't get an entry for the Fordwater this year ..........but I am in the Whitsun Trophy ;-)

Did I say it was at Zandvoort? Noise restrictions there much tougher than Zolder. The car used to run in NKHTGT - the NEDERLANDS KAMPIOENSCHAP HISTORISCHE TOERWAGENS & GT'S

Fantastic Richard will look forward to seeing you there its great that the one Mike built is going to be there I hope they have the engine sorted by then although I guess the steering will always be ? just going on the Friday this year as a lot on here with work etc.
The owners of the car must have got the invite direct as the company I believe has closed up sadly
