After a long search, found the largest radiator to fit (did not want to have a custom one made up), special Range Rover version, thick and with integral oil cooler.

Race battery located in passenger foot well for neat under bonnet looks, short leads to starter, and better weight distribution and CoG.

Dash had to be made from scratch

Dressed dash, special gauge included for envisaged high speed regions

When people ask why four reservoirs were fitted, I answer for the hydraulic throttle pedal operation, it gives a smoother throttle response. Many nod in acknowledgement.

Very very pleased with this wet weight. No set up was yet done at this moment, but quite nice distribution too.

Decided to make a wiring loom for the entire car from scratch. Lot of work.

Charade (Denso) alternator, much smaller than lumpy standard item. Also mounted it as low as possible, for CoG and esthetics.

Everything in the car is prepared to accept these, just need to find some time for the set up. Already have some thoughts of a neat new type of airbox. This was just the trial fit to see if it fits under the bonnet. It does ;-) Would be rude not to, what do you reckon? ;-)

Last Friday I had the visit to the Dutch RDW (test centre), sailed through first time. 2.5 years of work can now be legally driven on the road!

Breath of fresh air, for the first time out of the garage. Not an originality restoration, but bit of fun and engineering. Ready to be driven in anger. Tire sizes changed to latest spec, 235/60R15 rear, 205/60R15 front.
