Morning all,

Moved my Vixen 2500 this weekend and noticed a little puddle of 'stuff' by the rear wheel. First thought was brake fluid leak, but on further investigation it seems that it has been coming from somewhere around the diff area - can't really get under it very well but this is the best my phone could take. Any likely culprit to investigate first, it's pretty much flicked oil all the way around down there so difficult to identify the source so any simple checks would be gratefully received.

Cheers

Hello all,

I'm returning to this one a bit later than I expected - time flies...anyway, the Vixen hasn't moved since January and is still in my lounge. Although it looks very pretty there it's about time I moved it so is this a gearbox out job, and if so is that also an engine out job on a 2500?

Cheers

that's good news - so on a 1 to 10 scale of technical ability and access to specialist tools; 1 being my mum with a cutlery drawer, and 10 being the mechanics across the road, where does this job sit....?

Check to see what fluid is low. (diff or Gearbox). that should help tell you what is leaking.
