Hi,

I have some information on this car if anyone is interested, I supplied the racing photos of it at Rufforth in 1959 and the chassis photo (when under construction) to the current vendor. These photos came from John Kennerley.

Just so you are aware the photos on the website actually show two different Open Sports, 1st is the Trevor Wilkinson prototype as raced by Oliver and Stan Hart, the second for sale here (with inboard rear drums) is later and was completed in 1958 built and raced initially in 1959 by John Kennerley and Ken Cassir.

in the black and white photo at the AUTOSPEED car sales place I can not make out the reg number is it the one on the right?

and if its registered back in the day ie: 1950's why has the DVLA got it down as being Registered 1984?

only asking because I know nothing? Chassis number 001 is it?
