Hi all.
It appears that my accelerator pedal has been sat in a reasonable amount of water at some point in its life and is now heavily corroded to the point of replacement/repair is required.
Does anyone have a good condition one that they'd be willing to part with please?
I've asked several sources to date, but with no luck thus far.

Best Regards
Matt

Just a thought -

I think the M had a TR6 pedal box ?? may be pedal is a TR6 one (or a TVR modification of one) ??

might be wrong, but may be worth checking out.

I think I may have a spare one in the garage somewhere, however, I'm in Vancouver at the moment and won't return to the UK until 21st of this month.

Can you wait that long? hehe

Hi everyone.
Many thanks as ever for the help and advice.
Yes, I have tried A@. First port of call as always for their help and expertise! Alas on this one off occasion the part was not a stock item.

Hi Terminator - I'm not in an immediate rush these next few weeks. I can wait until you return from your Canadian adventures, no problem, thank you very much!

I think I have a complete pedal box assembly, for a LHD ‘75 M. I imagine, the one that’s different, is the accelerator pedal. Anybody here to confirm?

Two minutes on Rimmers website would suggest you are correct.

Frankly, it looks easy enough (and fun) to replicate.

Hmmm, mine doesn't look like that. Mine is floor mounted with coil spring.
Were they different on the early M's?
A@ sent me a great exploded view of it. I'll try and find a picture I have of mine and post....

It sure is! The coil spring has long since gone, hence the linear spring adaption.
The pivot spindle and seat are so worn and thin through corrosion, failure is imminent I'm sure.
Hence I am keen to replace it if possible.
It looks like there maybe some alternative adapted options open to me then.
I am desperate to drive it again...it's been 4yrs now other than a pootle around the block and on/off a flat bed during a house move!

There’s no way, that your loud pedal is made by the factory, ANY factory!
