STOLEN TVR Vixen S2 LVX1254/F. VYT 904G.

Just went to get some camping gear out of my lockup garage in Elstree/Borehamwood Herts, UK, it wasn't there, any of it.

Nor were any of my Vinyl records.

Also not there, Trixi, my Red 1969 Vixen S2.

She was in bits awaiting restoration, the body hanging from the roof, all running gear, engine, loom removed.

Notable features:
Ex Formula Ford Scholar Racing 1600 Crossflow 711M Engine, Scholar Stage 2 Head, on Twin 40 Webers and a Mike the Pipe 4 into 1 custom exhaust.

Martin Short 'Rollcentre' roll-bar with side impact protection bars linking to under-dash hoop.

Original TVR alloys.

Poorly fitting drivers door frame, thanks to David Gerald Sports cars who bodged a repair.

Sunken battery tray, Sparco Drivers seat & Harness.

Replacement DG Chassis with Engine Tie-Bar Bracket.

That's terrible. It might be a good idea to put a post on the TVRCC forum. More eyes the better....

Thieving low life! Sincerely hope you get all your bits back, I suffered 2 car thefts over the years ,It’s not the money/ value it’s the hurt,and when these scum bags are caught,it’s a joke.

Can you post full details of both cars and some pics to help Identify the parts then we can get fully circulated on all the facebook and club sites..

Current condition photos as well so bits can be identified easier..

Like Neil, I read this as being two cars but having re-read it several times I’m now thinking it is just the one. Can you clarify please?

Just one car.

The body was hanging from the roof of the garage,

The chassis was sitting on wheels laid flat.

The car was in a completely dismantled state.

They left the starter motor and dynamo.

I still have the steering rack, a 4.11:1 diff and the wooden front from the wooden dashboard.

That shouldn't be an issue; there's no minimum post count to allow emails.
