I seriously hope not. These passes are not cheap!

If so though, then they will be bitterly disappointed as we quaff Champagne with the grid girls and ignore them!

(If my wife is reading, samdale forced me to say this!)

God knows what would go down on an expenses claim for that!?

I don't think i saw even a mention on PH when 3 amateurs were side by side going through Eau Rouge at Spa and all three came out of it unscathed.
hehe I'm sure factory McLaren driver and 2016 Blancpain Endurance Champion Rob Bell and former Formua Ford and F3 Champion Callum MacLeod would be delighted to hear you think they're amateurs.

Thought it was Balfe, Loggie and Geddie driving at the time. If not then both Bell and Macleod went well out with track limits and should have conceded the place to the amateur Geddie.

It was Ryan Ratcliffe in the Bentley, not Geddie. I think he is a silver driver but I doubt he would have wanted any favours from either of the other two.

Glynn Geddie was the 2011 British GT Champion and has competed in BTCC, Carrera Cup in the UK and had a season in Supercup if I remember rightly. He's also Silver rated. He's certainly not an amateur by any stretch of the imagination!

Definitely Glynn in the car. On the TV footage you could see Ryan watching in the garage.

I think you are misunderstanding when i say "amateur". I don't mean inexperienced or incompetent, just that they are unpaid. as far as i was aware Glynn Geddie was not paid for his drive last year.

Chaps, looks like I will now hopefully be at the British GT at Spa again (3rd time in a row).

Quick question - I want to go to a UK one, which do people think is the best circuit in the UK for british GT?

Hi Julian - I never received the email so will pm you this afternoon. If the tickets been reallocated that’s cool as I’ve been quite slow on this one due to other things!
