Ahonen said: No backlash from me! Thanks for your support.

I don't think anyone says "bloody popstar" anymore, as Lynchy's proved he's actually damn good. Good feedback, great starter, doesn't crash, very consistent and can race hard when required. That points towards him being a pretty good peddler in my book.

We had some decent testing today, without bothering to go for a time, so hopefully that can continue throughout the weekend.

Steve @ Eclipse.

Well, I assumed my usual position yesterday (I'm the one in the dodgy army coat who was dancing around like a prat for no reason! Say hello next time!) Well done to all concerned. Fantastic position for today's race. I can't make it today but I've got my fingers crossed for all of you - GOOD LUCK!!!! I'll be checking the results later.

And yes, it was noted that the commentary team didn't refer to Shanno as "Shane Lynch from Boyzone" which was a refreshing change. About bloomin' time too!

Brilliant to see the new GT season is undeway again. Unfortunately the grid seems a little bit smaller than what would be ideal. As far as the DARRIAN is concerned there are some very good reasons why this car should not be racing and as far as i know it should be kept this way. As for JamesC involvement with Darrian it was very small.

Why..?? I didn't get a good close up look at the car, but from a distance it seemed pretty well prepped, and when you only have 12 cars out......

i think that you would have to ask the people concerned for the answer to that as it is not my place to do so.

Spoke to DNM today, with help from various people the Darrian will be back. There are very good reasons why this car should race.

GrahamG said: The full(er) story of the dnm Darrian will be on dailysportscar.net tomorrow - Suffice to say that someone need a good kick up the arse for leaving Matt and the lads up in the air like this.

I agree with Graham; I know DSC are on the case.

Absolutely right! It is not your place comment as you have not even seen the "dnm" car.
