The proof was there all along, although a lot of people chose not to see it. Soooo glad he's got the recognition and respect he deserves after what must have been a riveting race (unfortunately, I couldn't be there). He should have had that a long time ago, but there you go! I've known him for about 8 years now and have been watching him race since he started out with a stint in rallying with Ford before getting the break with Eclipse.

Very proud of his achievements yesterday and his part in getting the team their well earned 3rd place. Fantastic result for all concerned!

I've never seen that guy get nervous about anything in all the time I've known him. He's so laid back! So for him to be nervous about tactics and they way it would all go yesterday is a testament to his commitment.

Well done to Shane, "Bob" and Eclipse!

It has to be the best race for the John Griffiths crew for a long time. I can't wait for the TV coverage to see Shane and Piers battle with the Moslers. The CDL should be fully sorted by the next round as well. Roll on round two!

What attracts people to GT racing is big, fast, loud, good looking racing cars. By it's very nature it's not going to be like Caterhams or the BTCC, where the races only last 30 minutes. I thought the racing was fantastic on Sunday. But I am a huge sportscar racing fan.

Definitely! I'll definitely have to make sure I get out of bed for that one!!! Is the TV schedule available yet?
