I have been working out the history of the challenge cars based on my own photos and information from current owners.
Anyone got photos pre-2001 that they can send me to complete the job?
Any infomation on expired or stored cars would help too. Some of the existing racers are made up of parts from two or more others so it is getting more like a family tree. Any entry/competitor lists from 1989 to 2001 would also help the research.

I can send you details of mine if you like - it was built in 1999, and I did a full rebuild making it a road-legal 2-seater between 2006 and 2007 with a small block Chevrolet. Although rebuilt, re-engined, and totally 'refurnished' the chassis, running gear and tub are all basically original underneath.Anyone got photos pre-2001 that they can send me to complete the job?

Currently engine-less after the third SBC grenaded iteslf. I have a monster of an LS7-based motor built, dyno'd and ready to put in over the winter .
The car driven by Jeff was owned by RA Potter Racing developments and was never hired out to Gerry Marshall. I was partly responsible for RAP running the Tuscan and bought the car after the last race. I hillclimbed the car for a year before selling it to a German TVR enthusiast who has owned the car
since.
Still undamaged, still in original livery.

Well if you're ever in the Hertfordshire area let me know - Bob Sands is also just down the road (nice to see him in the picture too).Gassing Station | General Motorsport | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
