if needed I would like to use two sticker tyres on the front to replace tyres past there sell date, but some pretty good used slix on the back axle. The idea is to get a sticky front end but I will probably have a lively rear . i'm able to cope with a loose back end so to speak ,does anyone think I will have any other issues to concider.

works a lot better that way than hard on the front and medium on the rear.... we ran new wets on the front and buggered wets on the back in the Brands Hatch Sunami. a little bit side ways but at least it turned in and you could catch it... The other way around and id have got as far as the Graham hill armco if i was lucky.

I got snookered with the hard front medium rear setup at Spa after Dunlop didnt have any of the right tyres... i mean its not like they make tyres for a living ffs

I think The Dunlop soft slicks that we get are the same ones as the BTCC , they are only soft for a short heat cycle then when cured return to a state similar to medium compound

No I was getting softs from JR as I was struggling to get heat into mediums but when watching BTCC on telly they described how a couple of teams each race had softer tyres that would only " come in " for about 10 mins then " go off " , i got a set of used soft touring car tyres off ebay for testing and they were the same compound
