Are the Tuscans at Snetterton this weekend?

If so, does anyone else know what is on and the timetable?

Me too! Is there any TVR specific parking allocated (officially or unofficially)?

You're just excited about the prospect of having a nice warm pit garage this weekend rather than that drafty awning!!

Think of me with my golf brollie as the only protection from the elements at Silverstone this weekend...

(Need to change my PH name to 6.....)

Well I wouldn't know old chap. This whole racing driver lark is new to me - I was only going to use the brollie to keep the rain out of the car between sessions, but if you think it will help my lap times to use it during the races, I'll give it a go

As it turns out the Caterhams have top billing with the Radicals at Silverstone this weekend, so I should also be tucked up in a nice pit garage. Not that it's going to rain....

Good luck at Snett, and see you at Coombe 6

It's not the rain you need to worry about, it's going to be 28C and sitting on the grid in a 3 layer nomex, and your engine overheating, and the sweat running down the small of your back, feeling faint from the heat, then 4 cars stall, and have to be pushed from the grid so you get even hotter, then the track electrics start playing up and you're held on red lights for 15 secs, then you stall yourself, 15 other cars go passed you, and you're still on the start line pissing about with the fcuking brollie!!!!!!!!!!!

nah, forget the rain!!!

As its going to be hot I will use a small 1.6 litre heater this weekend, rather than the 4.5 litre one.

Not that it will help much. I have 2 hours 10 minutes of track time over two days (5 sessions). Add to that the time spent in the collection area, formation/slow down laps and time on the grid, it will be over four hours suited, booted, lidded and strapped in. Drink lots of water I think...
