What a mental day! Only way I can follow this at work is on twitter on my phone. Can't wait to watch the highlights on Motors TV.

As I look after the firewall at work it won't be! biggrin

I still have to be careful as the logs can get checked, so easiest thing is to use my phone.....

Motors TV back to their poor coverage, the editor/producer should be ashamed of the programe! First half of the show the sound is 1 or 2 seconds out then the second half is nearly in black and white!

Is it worse than the show that accidentally had no commentary?

Completely agree, dire comes to mind! I thought the coverage has been so amateurish this season. I wonder if it will improve with the new manufacturers coming on board?

With Redbull Media I really expect a top notch show, their coverage of other sports is usually very good.

I quite enjoyed that "pure sound" show hehe

But yea it probably was. If I did that twitter lark id be on to the Voice of Rally Colin Clark asking what the hell was going on!

I did ask him! He said sorry, it was a technical glitch!

Rally in this country is far from dead though. Needs a bit more promotion thats all, I was at the cambrian rally yesterday and it was the worst advertised and sign posted event I've ever been to. You didn't know there was a rally on until you were there!
The rally itself was amazing but just very badly advertised.

I must admit I was really pleased to see the crowds out in Sardinia, reminded me of old RAC footage (just looked rather warmer!).

i blame it on too many 'Company Directors' involved/interested in motorsport these days wink
they're far too concerned about getting their £200 shoes, stupid body warmers (not gilly or whatever the fashonable call them, bloody badywarmers is what they are!) dirty and wet in the forests! tongue out

its far easier for them to turn up to Silverstone and have the warm box to stand in with endless champers and nibbles than it is to get VIP Parking for their Audi R8 in some grotty car park in deepest darkest Wales.

if Rallying in the UK doesnt improve soon we rally fans that get out in the stages will be looked upon no better than the Train Spotters! ( i dont look down on them, its just they have the rep for being weird nerds of some sort)

I get the impression we already are thought of like train spotters.... Bobble hats & anoraks are hardly cool, are they? wink I'm not sure Rallying is a very 'sexy' or glamourous sport, and isn't called Motor Racing's dirty cousin for nothing. And thre is the story of BMW not liking it because the cars get dirty - not a good image for BMW owners, and their cars.

I too was at the Cambrian Rally, enjoyed it immensely, good crowds as well. Shame about all the delays, but fortunately, I could get a signal, so was able to keep track of what was happening.

Pah! get with the times dude!! you dont need anoraks these days! theres some awesome waterproof stuff made by the likes of Kooga/Under Armour and pretty much any other Rugby Supplier wink

Just avoid North Face jackets, their only worn by the posh rallyists tongue out

its either bobble hats or them ones that have extra bits knitted on to cover the ears with long dangles on, for what i assume is tying below the chin. wink were 'all the rage' last winter from what i saw
either way your buggerd to look a fool whichever choice you make! lol

Loebs crash from the outside.

Great win for Mikko and I was really pleased to see Novikov and Tanak keep it on the road for a brilliant podium! You would have thought one of them would throw it off the road at some point, but they did well finding the right pace and consistency... unlike the factory drivers!

In their defence the factory drivers were trying to stay less than two and a half minutes behind the leader.
