Pastor: not a w**ker says Frank!
Discussion
He had a good day, qualified an excellent second which became pole as we know, he drove a good race by letting Fred clear off at the start & he won the race fair & square by holding off Fred, not driving like a like a tt & not binning the car.
At the end of the day he did what the old adage saYS 'to finish first, first you must finish'.
He drove an excellent race, regardless of his antics in the past & if he doesnt won another GP - i do however think that he will win more than one GP - he can hold his head up & say that he won on his merit & not due to others falling off.
As to whether he would have beaten Lewis as well as Fred - we will never know however i reckon he would have given him a good run for his money.
So i think that he deserves a lot of credit for the way he drove on Sunday.

fks sake all this wking about Maldonado is making me sick.
He's won ONE race for fks sake and the only reason why he did win is because whether you agree with it or not the FASTEST man on track was put to the back of the grid fks sake get some perspective.

We got the same rubbish when Rosberg won. There has been plenty of mid-pack drivers that occasionally win a race, Maldonardo (and Rosberg) didn't level up and suddenly become a better driver.
People like DC threw away countless wins (1995) before finally nailing their first....
Maldo showed up well against Rubens last year - outqualifying Rubens in Monaco and Silverstone by a fair margin in his first year and with a higher average place overall - something Jenson failed to do in his champioship year alongside Rubens, with 9 seasons under his belt compared to Maldo being in his first season.....)

And demonstrating better qualie pace (on average) against Rubens as a newbie than a more experienced Jenson did....
The same Jenson who beat Hamilton over a season? Single seasons mean nothing. You can cherry pick whatever you want. Jenson also beat Rubens in 2009 when it mattered. EDLT said:

Hamiltons car wasnt underweight - he just didnt have enough fuel in it. I dont think that 1.3 litres of so of fuel would make that much difference to the weight of the car.
He had 1.3 litres left when told to park up and it would take 2.5 litres to get back to the pits plus needing .5 for the sample.... Allowing for tolerances maybe a tenth or two advantage on his hot lap...Johnboy Mac said:

Sam Michael has left, and gone to Mclaren. Can't you tell?
I can't help wondering how well Williams would be doing if the Kimi deal had gone through.
