You mean defending a position ? how dare he.

Plato has bump & ran his way to the front, it doesn't really impress me but he makes it worse by whinging when its done to him..
Eer no driving slowly and parking it on the apexes to help the other Honda, and you know it!

Even if he did its called defending and is completely legal unless you can point me at a rule in the blue book that says otherwise ?

Well I've been a fan for years. I just don't think I can stomach another year of this bullst.
Since when has it been a real race where 2 drivers can come from the back to win ?
It's like watching reps on the motorway

Fastest car on the grid by some way and rubbed everyone he came up against.
Rubbing's racing right ?
Indeed, and title will go down to the last weekend - who woulda thunk it? biggrin

Plato may be a good driver but the cars really don't look even

Is it being managed for a close last round?

Everywhere you look there is a Honda being mugged in a straight line. Not that I'm suggesting the boost was turned down to keep the championship alive until brands...

Going to the NGTC cars was a good move because its put more cars on the grid and given teams a chance to build and enter their own cars ala Thorney, Welch etc, but the turbo engine is killing the on track action, worst thing they did was introduce the turbo engines.

I'm looking forward to Brands. I wonder if the Hondas will suddenly find a bit more pedal travel.... wink.

A good race from Push-to-pass Plato.

The sudden loss of pace for the Hondas is certainly suspect, to say the least.

Agreed.

imho if Plato and to a lesser extent Neal retired it'd be a better series.

Disagree, turbo engines aren't the problem, the constant buggering about with boost levels is whats wrong. Set a boost and power limits and leave it alone. If that means that one team is out front while the rest try and catch up, so be it. After all if the NGTC rules mean the cars are so similar there shouldn't be a massive difference anyway, right ?

Its clear that the Hondas have ended up victims of the current boost regs and over the course of the season just about everyone has complained about the regs at some time or another.

Looked like it was a struggle for Steve Neal but he managed to get the sorry out in the end. smile
It was all a bit Alan Partridge v The Farmers for me. "Uhmmm.....sorry". biggrin

Matt Neal had a point there. How can a car from the back come through to win two races? It's just decided by sheer grunt and not overtaking skill. The art of passing and defending is lost.

One Honda is leading the championship, the other is third and Team Dynamics is miles ahead in the teams championship. I wouldn't call them victims. If they had as much power as everyone else they would have won every race barring breakdowns, who'd want to watch that?

F1 has mickey mouse tyres, BTCC has mickey mouse turbos.

I'd be happy to see Flash win it - as would all of Team Dynamics inc Matt.
