All that, and they still finish under caution!

Well done Marcus Ericsson

You’d never guess those mechanics were sponsored by a chocolate company.

They’ll be drinking milk now though!

I don't think so specifically, but;

säckpipa
Swedish bagpipes (säckpipa, Swedish: svensk säckpipa, or dråmba, koppe, posu, or bälgpipa) are a variety of bagpipes from Sweden. The term itself generically translates to "bagpipes" in Swedish, but is used in English to describe the specifically Swedish bagpipe from the Dalarna region.

He’s got a wreath, a bottle of milk, a ring, and changed hats more than once - still in the car!

I have a slightly romantic "Americana" view of US sports commentary, I love the squeezing in of sponsors "Those Firestones are giving him the grip!".

fk me Dixon must be feeling sick right now. Most laps led in the history of the Indy 500 and only one win 14 years ago.

Been out all day, just watched the Monaco F1, went to the Sky planner and it hasn't recorded the Indy 500. Arrgghh!

It gets better, I have been watching the NASCAR on youtube since lockdown (it was the only motorsport still going) and they squeeze in the sponsers at every possible moment. Even the onboard cameras are fking sponsered by someone! As is the last lap 0o it's a different world

Im really glad for Marcus, it really is a crazy semi-endurance, so much stuff can happen, and do happen, and its very brutal for small mistakes. Not a shocker that he won it though, he has been running up there several indy races before this, and been fast on ovals, but havent been able to do it all the way due to different reasons. Not an easy time for this years rookies, the competition is pretty brutal.

I was disappointed for Dixon. Clearly the fastest driver in qualifying and the race, I think he deserves another win.

But great for Ericsson.

Noticed how quick Chip Ganassi changed his orange '9' branded cap that he wore for most of the race for a red Huski one......

I was disappointed with Jimmie Johnson. Whilst I didn't expect a win, I thought he could at least run in the upper midfield.

I don't follow the series much, but I don't think Johnson has done much yet, the field has good quality and some very experienced guys, when you see how guys like McLaughlin have done, easy to overlook a guy in his 40's trying something totally new

I was working all weekend, got home late to find it didn't record. It recorded every other session of this event.

Sky really are crap at times.
