Surely some time in a wind tunnel would fix this, rather than wipers?

Testing the screen never went as far as driving 20+ cars at speed together in the rain, so this was the first time it's happened. There are suggestions for running without the glass in the wet, effectively making it an F1 halo, and some asking whether the same would have happened with no screen because of the amount of water getting kicked up.
Thanks Badger & ralph - a bit more digging has found that he's broken some bones in his hand, and was hoping to race in a brace (like Johnso did earlier in season), but breaks have been ruled to bad for that.
He took his hands off the wheel before the crash, but the impact threw his hand into the cockpit side so hard, it broke bones.
