But they carried over the spirit of a road by having a speed bump in one corner. They even painted it white so you knew where it was.

The rumour appears to be that Rahal poached an employee from Andretti, and the allegation is possibly that that Andretti’s IP may have been illegally transferred to Rahal. Employees were told to stand away from computers as the Feds entered the building.
Obviously not good to have the FBI anywhere near your business, Rahal had better hope that it’s clearly one employee with a memory stick of data, and there’s not evidence on their servers of greater wrongdoing.
Those of us with long memories might remember a similar scandal in F1 back in 2007.

Those of us with long memories will remember a similar scandal at the McLaren F1 team back in 2007, where a senior engineer that had transferred to the team from Ferrari was caught with a load of Ferrari designs - after a staff member at a photocopy shop near the McLaren factory alerted Ferrari that documents with their designs were being duplicated, as it happens by the wife of another McLaren engineer. They managed to all settle out of court, but McLaren were handed a $100m fine by the FIA for their part in the IP theft.

You might want to try that again.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007_Formula_One_esp...

They share Honda engines, which are looked after by Honda engineers, they all the same Dallara DW12, the same 2018 universal aero kit and Firestone tires (looked after by Firestone personnel) other than setups which depend on the drivers what IP could they be stealing?
Made me laugh that the teams swap the functions on the steering wheel to keep the other teams guessing. All well and good as long as they tell the driver! FourWheelDrift said:

Dampers are not spec so there is IP there to be taken, and setups obviously. rallycross said:
whats going on at Andretti apparently Michael has left his post as CEO why would they do that its his team after all?
So, apparently Greg Maffei, CEO of Liberty Global, the owners of F1 at the moment, said to Mario Andretti at some F1 race earlier that he would 'make it his life's effort to ensure Michael Andretti never got a place in F1' or words to that effect. It shouldn't be forgotten either than Michael is now 62 and is probably looking to wind things down a little, and if they Andretti get into F1 without Michael at the wheel, and they've been advised as such unofficially, then Michael may have no choice. I'm unsure if Greg and Michael have History together, or if Greg is just upset at Liberty being dragged through legal proceedings by Andretti and being under investigation by Congress for being anti-competitive, also prompted by Andretti thoughMissChief said:
