The Aero screen doesn’t help, I think the angle of the nose then the screen upsets the look a little. If there was a seamless transition it would look much better. I’m sure the next car will be better integrated when they get round to it.
It didn't rain at all during the races last year. I'm interested to see how the screens perform when wet. (Ovals excluded )Speed Badger said:
Anyone know why they have got rid of the LED position numbers on the airboxes of the cars that also showed the pitstop times counting up?
I remember this was mentioned on the Marshall Pruett podcast some time ago. They stopped doing it because of reliability and accuracy issues. They're looking for different supplier but in no rush to implement it. I've not watched indy car for a few years, and I found last night's race to be a bit of a yawn-fest.
Perhaps it's because I've not kept up with it, but I found it difficult to differentiate the cars/teams and who was running, where. Surprising number of familiar ex-F1 drivers though. Grosjean seemed to do okay.

Either way it was effective last weekend.

NBC just showed an advert during their Indycar coverage for an NBC App called Peacock TV that as Leigh Diffy enthusiastically said you can watch Indycar coverage. But surely anyone seeing the advert is already watching Indycar coverage.....
but not Lights. Looking forward to this, it's generally a decent race. Are those clouds on the horizon?
