The way they put those trucks on track give me the creeps.
Trucks going the wrong way should always be a no-no. At the first yellow, the truck deliberately put itself between the racing line and the crashed car, so another car going off at the same corner would hit something heavy.

It’s a different world.
Not better or worse, just different.
I’ve always marvelled at no blue flags - back markers are allowed to defend to maintain lead lap position- bonkers.

They do the same on the ovals. Quite happy to park the trucks on the racing line under yellows.

Yes, they don’t use blue flags for the first lap down in Indy, only if you’re two laps down do you see them. It’s a different world.

18 lap sprint coming here, two ex-F1 drivers with a great opportunity.
Edit: then Ericsson bins it!

That track is a mess now.
Jimmy is a super nice guy, but not sure Indycars are for him on the street and circuit courses. He did well on the Oval though.
I desperately want Jimmie to do well and at least get some respectability. Jimmy is a super nice guy, but not sure Indycars are for him on the street and circuit courses. He did well on the Oval though.
But, in the same way that Dario Franchitti couldn't crack NASCAR, I really think Jimmie can't crack Indycar.....
