Detroit on now, usually a bit chaotic. If anyone else is watching this on Sky F1 UHD can you tell me if the picture colour is mental or if it's just me?!

Seems OK to me.

Such a terrible circuit - makes UK roads look smooth! No wonder Fosters front suspension just completely failed down the straight!

Bit rough around the edges, but a better circuit, and race, than Monaco.

Foster crash was quite spectacular.

Braking zone at the end of a long straight on a bumpy street circuit with concrete barriers at 180 mphish

Then your front suspension collapses…

yikes

Yep, same here re the colour, the Arrow Mclarens and Dixon car looked red not papaya or orange (Dixon).

Belle Isle was a great street circuit, sadly they use this rubbish track now.

At least Long Beach isn't ruined.

Good race on the short oval.

Foster and Newgarden both very lucky men, that was indeed an horrific accident. A good decision from Newgarden to hit the wall first, otherwise it was going to be awfully close to that fatal T-bone accident in F2 a few years back at Spa, that claimed the life of Anthoine Hubert.

Have you ever been to the Indy 500? If not, this video gives a pretty good sense of what to expect from a fan’s point of view. It captures the atmosphere, the traditions, and what makes the whole experience so memorable. You hear directly from the fans about why this race means so much to them.

Yes, followed Foster for a few years and seen his successful rise through U.S. racing programmes.

Thought he won at Road America in IndyNXT last year, but just checked and he was second (Jamie Chadwick won) but Foster went on to win the Title.

Really hope he does well.

Driving off with the tow rope still attached and not being told to stop.

Seems like everyone had taken a mental pill today. Very entertaining though!

I think the temperature has got to them - properly bonkers.

It was! I was hoping Dixon had enough fuel.

It was, especially as we didn't know who was going to win right down to the final laps.

I was willing Palou to run out of fuel so Felix could get onto that top step again!
