It should be from what Ryan told me at Bathurst.
Told ya! Haven't watched it yet to know how the cars' pace were on the different compounds. DJR had issues on that last season but redesigned suspension to help.rubystone said:

Told ya! Haven't watched it yet to know how the cars' pace were on the different compounds. DJR had issues on that last season but redesigned suspension to help.I said at the start of the season that the Redbulls braking performance was going to be a big factor in races & today it's showing what's disappointing for me is that the Prodrive cars are just rolling over & letting them pass.
I think SVG inadvertently caused the turn 1 crashes because the drivers behind were expecting an incident after seeing how far he was coming from & jammed on the anchors but those behind couldn't see it & just drilled those in front, now the championship is wide open.

Thought I'd let you guys here the new Twin Turbo V6 that will be powering the 2018 Holdens.

The turbo V6 is being held off until 2019 to allow development time - 2018 will now see only the body change to the new Commodore / Insginia where teams decide to run it.https://youtu.be/Mj8fgMQZieI

Well it looks like the championship is going to be super tight.
I'm feeling the opposite, funnily enough! Although I will admit that if a certain young Kiwi doesn't finish one of either Sandown or Bathurst then it will be spectacular. Can't wait for enduro season to begin!I think the Enduro's will favour 888 as they really seem to manage their tyres & as I've been banging on about since race 1 their braking performance puts them in the box seat IMO, so even if the Kiwi finishes in the top 5 the two 888 cars will be upfront & I'll stick my neck out and say it'll be SVG hovering up the most points.

Sadly I'm not going to Bathurst this year but the Coulthard camp is quietly confident and happy with the way Ludo is running things. With less than a race win of points between 1st and 3rd place it's going to be tight. The Ford is much kinder on its tyres this season than last too.
Probably 'cause you got banned for some sort of behaviour last time you were there .... Gassing Station | General Motorsport | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
