Agree with the comments of Epynt on Sunday. I was sat in the landy doing Radio and official duties for the day. When the Crowley Colt/Evo went off we had to fly in stage and deal with it, got there and the state on the car was shocking. Was not expecting them both to be out of the car and everything still intact!
Credit to the spectators at scene for doing so well and listening to the marshals thumbup

Driver has bruising, Co-Driver took all the impact on her side and is currently still in hospital having more scans. I've been chatting with her via facebook as her account of the accident don't tally with our official account. I have a video of the accident that I've sent her, and so far the MSA and event organisers have requested it, but when I get the all clear I'll post it up, unless it makes its way online any other way.

What a shame Damian had a little fire in the car biggrin nice to see someone else take a win up there

Still catching up with all the Mexico stuff, but obviously have seen Meekes moment, seems he didn't listen to Paul's notes and the compression kicked them out.

Questions need to be raised about putting a parking area so close to the outside of a bend with a noted compression!?

Interesting stuff on the Colt crash ^^

Ogier d/q would make championship very interesting allowing Meeke and Neuville more chance to catch up and giving Latvala a nice advantage!

I see Paddon/Kennard have announced JK's retirement from co-driving after WRC Finland (had to happen at some stage, he isn't getting any younger), Seb Marshall to take over but JK staying involved with the team.

Well lucky is one word for it. Three mistakes in three rallies. Two cost him, the third didn't.
Meeke for championship ? Sorry, no way (happy to eat humble pie come the end of the season if he does) but you can't win championships driving in the manner Kris has dome the last 15 months. Individual rallies, yes, but not championships. Hope I'm wrong and he walks it, but I'm doubtful he will.

I bet Paul and a few others kicked Meeke's arse anyway! It was a ridiculous, but brilliantly entertaining mistake! As big a fan of his that I am, I can't see championship form, and my nerves when I go to check rally standings seem to have returned!

Really pleased for Seb, seemed a top guy when I met him in Sardinia a couple years ago smile

The 'Premier' series (aka the MSA BRC) in Britain starts tonight with the Border Counties Rally. Seems to be pretty low key when compared to the BTCC.....
Wish everybody good luck.

I'm no expert on marketing and promotion but starting the "Premier" series in the middle of nowhere on a Friday night in March doesn't seem to be ideal? I wonder how many people bothered spectating?

Ahlin leading by 12 at the moment, looks like a competitive field with plenty of different stage winners.

I did and there was a few people in the hill side, they were charging £10 for parking though at the stage, we didnt get a ticket or anything so im wondering if they were charging £10 at each part.

You still had censored idiots going outside the fenced off areas ingnoring the marshalls standing on the exit of the corners. :headbang:

Those R5 fabias though cloud9

Actually started yesterday. Seems to have passed by without many people noticing. The ERC needs a kick up the backside in terms of promotion. Could & should be a much better series....

Great pics AMD87.

Why do I find myself appreciating the looks of the S14 Impreza lately!?

Those Porsche's are modern day sounding Grp B cars! would be good to see some on events over here, I've only ever seen the Tuthill one as course car on the 2014 Harry Flatters. This sort of class would ramp up a tarmac championship I think and is what the R-GT Class should be full of on WRC events.

Count me in on that, Didn't realise the ERC was still on tbh, no UK based rounds maybe drops it off UK media interest?
